About

A Touch of Gardening endeavours to assist and inspire people who crave their own green oasis away from the chaos of city life. My goal is to encourage you to try new things and be creative, even if you only have a teeny tiny deck to call your own. So many people I have met throughout my years as a gardener have a desire to have a garden space to enjoy time in, but they do not want to spend hours every weekend working in it. They just want to do “a touch of gardening.”

My background includes completing the Certificate in Garden Design program at the University of British Columbia, as well as volunteering with Vancouver’s Master Gardeners. Welcome to my blog, and I look forward to reading your comments and ideas.

Cheers!

Janet

  1. Great blog – lots of positive information to get us enthusiastic about gardening – On the insect topic, I saw a bee-fly last week on my winter aconites – a fly that looks like a very large bee.
